Emily Hone
President and Editor-in-Chief
Hi I am Emily! I’m a third-year Politics student, and I had the pleasure of joining The Witness as Publicity Secretary last year. I’m incredibly honoured to now serve as your President and Editor-in-Chief!
I have a keen interest in writing about gender politics, particularly the politics surrounding the female body. As President, I’m committed to upholding The Witness’ dedication to free speech and ensuring that we continue to be a platform for open, fair, and thoughtful discussion.

Daniel Groves
Treasurer and Senior Editor
Hi, I’m Dan, a third-year student studying law. Throughout my studies, I have maintained a keen interest in politics, particularly issues concerning local government and British politics. This is my second year as part of the Witness; I joined as a casual contributor, contributing articles focused on local government and British economic policy. Since that time, I was fortunate enough to be elected as Treasuer and Senior Editor.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Witness primarily due to the society’s commitment to free expression and providing a platform for all our members. This year at the Witness, I will continue to support this celebrated ethos of free expression and discussion while also delivering for the members of this society as Treasurer and Senior Editor
